How I Work

The best starting point is for us is to ‘Get Acquainted’. I’d like to learn more about your health concerns and so invite you to book a free 15 minute call. This call is not a consultation but a chance for you to ask any questions about the treatment process, to ensure we are the right fit to work with one another and that your health goals are the right match for my practice.

My Treatment Process

Initial Consultation

Following the ‘Get Acquainted’ call all new clients begin by completing an intake form to be returned ahead of the initial consultation.

The initial consultation typically lasts 90 minutes and includes:

  • In-depth discussion of your medical and health history; whether you are on any medications
  • I review any previous laboratory work or functional tests you have had done
  • We discuss your goals, symptoms, current nutrition status and whether you are taking any nutritional supplements
  • I will explain my initial thoughts about your case and which body systems appear to need support

After the appointment I will reflect on all the information gathered, carry out any necessary research and create a foundational nutrition plan for you to follow. This written report will detail your bespoke food plan, lifestyle advice and appropriate supplement regimen targeted to your situation.

Nutritional supplements and any functional testing are both additional to the consultation cost and will be discussed with you.

Follow-up appointments

These may be within a package or booked on a more ad-hoc basis depending on which treatment plan we have agreed on.

During your first follow-up:

  • We will discuss and review the action points provided in the initial consultation
  • Conduct a review of existing symptoms and whether any new symptoms
  • If supplements were prescribed, a review of these
  • If any laboratory testing was carried out, a verbal discussion of the results along with a written report

After the follow-up appointment I will review the information and provide a written action plan reflecting any changes required to continue your progress.

Subsequent follow-ups

During subsequent follow-ups I will:

  • Monitor your response to treatment and make any necessary adjustments based on your level of responsiveness and any laboratory findings
  • Explain any new laboratory results
  • Order any further testing needed as treatment progresses
  • Continue to work to improve your health as soon as possible
